2022-2023 ARS Walking

The ARS Walking program is run by HomeBASE, the afterschool Program at Temple Ohabei Shalom. We pick students up from Pierce, Lawrence, and Florida Ruffin Ridley Schools. The cost for this program is $400 for entire ARS school year (September 2022-May 2023), and includes a supervised walk to TOS.  
(NOTE: If your child attends HomeBASE on the other 4 days of the week, then you do NOT need to pay for ARS Walking as it is already included in your HomeBASE fees.)
Please send your child(ren) with an extra snack and water for the afternoon. 
ARS Walking begins on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 and will end on May 16, 2023 (the last day of ARS).
 
  1. Pickup will be at 2:30 pm on Tuesdays at a central location outside at each school. 
  2. Students will be walking to ARS each week. There is no alternate transportation for inclement weather. Please make sure your child has the appropriate outdoor clothing for the weather. 
  3. Registration is for the ARS school year only. No refunds will be given for illness, snow days, inclement weather or governmental orders.
  4. If your child will not be walking with us on a given Tuesday, you MUST notify us by noon on the same day. If not, you will be assessed a $25 fee.
