Ba-re-chu et A-do-nai ha-me-vo-rach!
Ba-ruch A-do-nai ha-me-vo-rach le-o-lam va-ed!
Ba-ruch ata, A-do-nai E-lo-hei-nu, me-lech ha-o-lam,
a-sher ba-char ba-nu mi-kol ha-a-mim, ve-na-tan la-nu et To-ra-to.
Ba-ruch ata, A-do-nai, no-tein ha-to-rah.

 

Bless Adonai who is blessed.
Blessed is Adonai who is blessed now and forever.
Blessed are You, Adonai our God, Sovereign of the universe,
who has chosen us from among the peoples, and given us the Torah.
Blessed are You, Adonai, who gives the Torah.

a-sher na-tan la-nu To-rat e-met, ve-cha-yei o-lam na-ta be-to-chei-nu.

Blessed are You, Adonai our God, Sovereign of the universe,
who has given us a Torah of truth, implanting within us eternal life.
Blessed are You, Adonai, who gives the Torah.
